Live in autodidact is really unpredictable. Years passed with xampp and php coding — now i have to learn basic for web server. Most important about Apache Windows *and we’re talking about WindowsOS” web server is the COMPILER of the Apache. Apache and PHP can be downloaded as a source code but compiling them to be a binary code is depend on the compiler, and so they can be used each other. Today, there’s a lot of compiled Apache in Windows system, most compiled are using VC++ Redistribution with version VC6 (for XP) and VC9 (for Win7).
